I installed TeamTalk, and set it up following the help file. Everything matched the settings, and I checked the help file to make sure, but when I try to connect, I keep getting an error message that says my username is invalid, so I checked my account settings to see if I was typing my TeamTalk password correctly, and I was. I also checked my username, and it was also correct. I know it's case sensitive, and I kept that in mind when I wrote it. Does anybody know how to help me with this?
What is the error message you are getting when trying to connect?
It just says "username invalid".
I'm having problems with voice chat too. How does it work first of all and what do I need to download to do it?
To the person who asked what you need to voice chat, you need to download team talk.
To ocean dream, make sure your user name is written exactly as you have it on the site, you might have it right but just in case I'm reminding you.
Also, case matters, such as your capital O and D.
At the time voice chat was new, I had recently changed my username to something else. as soon as I changed it back to OceanDream, it worked fine thereafter.
i've heard about teem talk. will have to try it out.-
yeah, you need to download teamtalk and then run and install it and then set it up and then play with the sliders. I find 100 on the first one 3 on the second and 0 on the third helps and also, set up your password under my account. if you need any help with it give me a shout and I'd be more then happy to talk you through getting on there.
You should try it out, it's really rather fun.
